In the South East coast of Cyprus there is constant sun shine and temperatures are approx. 30C or above most of the year. During the day visitors can relax by the large outdoor swimming pool in the holiday apartment complex; or visit the local cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants; or nearby beach only 5 minutes walk away from the rental apartment - taking a dip in the crystal clear and clean waters when the weather gets too hot.
The rental holiday apartment is ideally situated for hiking alongside the coast, local water sports or fishing. It's a peaceful location near to the famous town of Famagusta, and city of Paralimni in South Cyprus. Far less crowded than the larger resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa but close enough to pay each a visit for the day or an evening out. Cleaner and better value for money than the usual hotels in South Cyprus.
A few minutes drive you'll reach the popular resort of Protaras with it's own beaches including the lovely Fig Tree Bay and Konnos. A little further takes you to Cape Greco with its stunning views and walks, and then on to the great resort of Ayia Napa which boasts the world famous Ayia Napa Water Park that will keep you entertained all day whatever the age. Ayia Napa is also home to a huge number of restaurants, bars, shops and a very ambient and atmospheric nightlife. The capital city of Cyprus - Nicosia - is also only a 30 minute drive away.
At the north end of the village is the Famagusta Viewpoint ,a lookout tower where you can see across the border into the north and an information centre outlining the history of the divided Island,and a small Zoo, while at the south end is the Ocean Aquarium, which is worth a look, and whilst you are that end of town there is a lovely cove with a beautiful church overlooking the sea.
The atmosphere of the rental holiday apartment is very relaxed and laid back which makes it the ideal place for a chill out holiday. In a great location and priced to easily beat a hotel stay.
